A move into the Unknown

So we got given a new brief, as I’m sure anyone reading this blog is aware of. The apparant downside is however that everyone managed to get themselves a group within what seemed to be roughly 10 seconds before my arrival, therfore my current group is a group of one unless I am specifically told that I must not work alone or someone else invites me to theirs.

Not that I’m hugely cut up about it, it’s fairly telling about how well I get on with people. Here anyway are my first thoughts on the subject.

Book Post No.2

Shots of the first book remake and the final attempt. The paper didn’t seem to like any form of moisture and just died when sticking. In the end I was forced to use beva (a form of waxy eva glue that is used for sticking while dry and cured with heat) to attach the cover paper.

Book Making

Work on the book for the Silent Night project. Internals finished and waiting for the cover (which annoyingly bubbled dispite extensive ironing).

Blog

I don’t think I like this blog much, but here you go anyway. Its the image from my V & A project redesign. The project from today was pretty catastrpohic but then I didn’t have a digital camera so theres little evidence of it. Then again I don’t have a digital camera at all so it’s a moot point.

And now we move on.

New year coming, I hope I do more work for it.
